Pakistan’s love for Turkish culture just got even more exciting. Globally famous chef and internet personality Burak Özdemir, better known as CZN Burak, has revealed plans to visit Pakistan and open a restaurant here. The announcement has sent fans across the country into a frenzy.
Born on 24 March 1996, CZN Burak is a Turkish internet personality, chef, and restaurateur whose preparation and presentation of oversized versions of Turkish recipes while smiling to the camera have made him an internet celebrity on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
With over 51 million followers on Instagram, CZN Burak has turned food into spectacle, entertainment, and branding all at once. His signature style, giant dishes, eye contact with the camera, and his ever-present cheerful smile have won hearts in Pakistan long before his planned arrival.
This is not his first connection with Pakistan. Upon a previous arrival in Pakistan, the celebrated chef said that both countries share an extraordinary harmony when it comes to cultures and food. That warmth clearly stuck, as he is now planning a much bigger return.
Özdemir’s restaurant chain already has eleven branches worldwide, including in Dubai, Medina, China, the UK, and several other countries, and Pakistan could soon be added to that growing list.
