ARY Digital Network’s streaming app, ARY Plus, has become a popular choice for viewers seeking Pakistani dramas, sports, and other content. Public data from app stores shows the app has reportedly crossed over 10 million downloads, reflecting growing interest in a dedicated local platform.
The app, developed by ARY Services, offers free access to a wide range of programmes. Users can watch full dramas, live sports, short video clips known as Snips, news and exclusive titles without paying a subscription fee. Content is supported by advertisements.
In recent weeks the network has strengthened the platform. ARY Digital plans to stop uploading new drama episodes on its official YouTube channel from 17 September 2026. Viewers in Pakistan will instead find the latest episodes exclusively on ARY Plus. The change aims to give the network greater control over its content and direct connection with audiences.
ARY Digital Network President and CEO Salman Iqbal has described ARY Plus as a home-grown service built to serve Urdu-speaking viewers both inside Pakistan and abroad. He noted that work on the improved platform took several years and was driven by demand from fans, including those living overseas.
The app is available on Android, iOS and other devices. It brings together material from across the ARY network, including popular shows and live events. For ordinary users, the move means a simple way to access favourite programmes in one place, though some may need time to adjust after years of watching on YouTube.
