From a Rehearsal Clip to Fake Accounts, The Zoha Waseem and Alizeh Shah Controversy

Pakistani social media was set on fire this week after a rehearsal clip of singer Zoha Waseem went viral for all the wrong reasons. The drama began when Zoha was performing her hit track Majboor during a rehearsal and was seen visibly frustrated with crew members for not playing the correct portion of the track. The clip spread rapidly across social media and triggered accusations of auto-tune use against the singer.

Actress Alizeh Shah wasted no time and took to her Instagram Stories to publicly criticize Zoha, writing: “Learn how to sing your song without a tone, first. It’s not such horrible times that I have to be jealous of you.” Her remarks reportedly followed alleged comments circulating online that were attributed to Zoha about the actress.

As the feud caught fire online, a post began circulating on X under a username that closely resembled Zoha Waseem’s name. The post appeared to hit back at Alizeh Shah, calling her jealous and attention-seeking. Fans quickly picked it up, and the drama intensified further.

However, Zoha’s official Instagram team stepped in and shut it down fast. They publicly clarified that Zoha only maintains one official social media account on Instagram and that she has absolutely no presence on X, Threads, or YouTube. The viral account was fake.

Meanwhile, Majboor, released on September 11, 2025, under Giraffe Music, continues to go viral across platforms, keeping both names firmly in the public eye despite the controversy.
