TikToker “Nani Wala” Arrested Again, This Time for Reckless Driving and Threatening Police

Pakistani social media influencer Nadeem Mubarak, widely known as “Nani Wala,” has landed in legal trouble once again after being arrested in Lahore for reckless driving and threatening police officials.

A case has been registered at the Defence C Police Station against Nadeem Mubarak under charges of negligent and reckless driving, interference in official duties, and threatening a public servant.

According to the FIR, traffic police officials signalled a non-registered vehicle with black-tinted windows to stop during routine checking. However, instead of complying with the instructions, the driver allegedly sped away and drove the vehicle in the wrong direction on a one-way road. During the pursuit, the suspect also attempted to ram a police vehicle carrying officers.

The FIR was lodged under Sections 186, 189, and 279, and the incident occurred near Raya Club, where the high-end Audi E-tron with an “applied for” registration status was seen travelling on the wrong side of the road. Nadeem Mubarak was produced before a Cantt court after his arrest.

This is not the first time Nani Wala has faced legal issues. He was previously booked for promoting gambling apps online, and in September last year, was held in a separate case for displaying a fake vehicle registration number, “IK-804,” on one of his rides.

Lahore Traffic Police confirmed that a city-wide crackdown on traffic violations is ongoing, targeting individuals using fake documentation, illegal number plates, and misuse of “applied for” plates, adding that no leniency would be extended to violators.

The latest arrest raises serious questions about accountability for social media influencers who use their fame and wealth to flout the law on public roads.
