Actress Hania Aamir has shared a mysterious message on Instagram about how people behave when a woman becomes commercially successful.
Without naming anyone or explaining what she meant, Hania posted on her Instagram Stories: “All love, but it’s interesting how concerned we get about brands and their marketing when the success in question belongs to a woman.”

The post came shortly after veteran actor Faysal Qureshi spoke about Hania’s rising fame and market value during a podcast appearance. He was asked about a viral clip and reports claiming Hania had asked for Rs2 million to appear on a podcast.
Faysal defended her, saying her popularity justified the amount. He said that if you look around at billboards and ads these days, Hania’s face is everywhere, and every major brand doing well wants her to promote its products. He added that this is Hania’s moment, and if she asked for Rs 2 million, he sees nothing wrong with it.

The talk was linked to earlier reports that Hania had demanded the fee for a podcast appearance. So far, Hania has not confirmed or denied these reports herself.
Her Instagram post seems to respond to the wider conversation, suggesting that people question a woman’s business decisions more than they would a man’s in a similar position.
