Hania Aamir, Pakistan’s most-followed celebrity, just dropped an Instagram photo dump, and buried in it was a black-and-white childhood picture of singer Asim Azhar. The internet lost its mind. She captioned the whole post “if I were a man, this would be cinema.” Fans agree. This is a cinema.
This is not the first clue. It is more like the tenth. The two originally dated between 2018 and 2020 before going their separate ways. Asim then got engaged to model Merub Ali, but that engagement ended in June 2025. Almost immediately, Hania and Asim started popping up in the same places. Same concerts. Same birthday parties. Same matching yellow New York Yankees caps spotted on their Instagram stories.
Then came the qawwali night at Asim’s house, both dressed in coordinated black outfits. Then a video of them dancing together that sent fans into a full spiral. Then, in Asim’s USA tour photo dump, where a woman in a hoodie was walking beside him, fans had zero doubt who it was. Asim himself also spoke publicly about “true love,” saying it “comes and never leaves the mind.” Nobody believed he was talking about anything other than Hania.
Wedding rumours started flying as early as January 2026, with reports of a private Nikah during Ramzan. That did not happen, officially, at least.
