Jiji Is Back: Saba Qamar Announces Muamma 2

Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has confirmed that a second season of her hit psychological thriller “Muamma” is officially in the works. She shared the update while interacting with fans at her first-ever UK Meet & Greet event in London on September 18, hosted by actor Azfar Rehman to raise funds for SKT Welfare.

Talking to the audience, Qamar hinted that her widely discussed character Jahan Ara, popularly nicknamed “Jiji,” will return for the new season. She jokingly added that Jiji is “not so easy to kill,” playing into ongoing fan theories about her character’s fate after the dramatic finale of the first season.

“Muamma,” which aired on Hum TV, followed Jahan Ara, a mysterious homeowner who secretly watches and manipulates the lives of her tenants. The show, co-starring Usman Mukhtar and Ali Ansari, became one of the most talked-about Pakistani dramas after its release, with audiences praising Qamar’s performance.

During the same event, Qamar also spoke about her next television project, “Case No. 10,” written by Shahzeb Khanzada and directed by Danish Nawaz. She revealed she will play a character named Pinky, also known as Anmol, described as being involved in the drug trade. The drama follows Khanzada’s earlier hit “Case No. 9,” and is expected to center around a murder mystery, though a release date has not yet been announced.

Fans have reacted with excitement online, eager to see Qamar return to the screen in two major new projects.
