Indian singer-songwriter Anuv Jain recently shared a heartwarming memory involving Pakistani music star Atif Aslam, calling it one of the best experiences of his life. Speaking on a popular YouTube podcast, Anuv recalled the night fondly, describing how a simple invitation turned into an unforgettable evening of music.
According to Anuv, the story goes back to a two-day music festival in Kathmandu, Nepal, held in April 2024. Atif Aslam performed on the festival’s opening night, while Anuv was scheduled to take the stage the following day. Despite already having completed his own performance, Atif showed up to watch Anuv’s show, an act that clearly touched the young singer.
After the concert, Atif invited Anuv and his team to join him for a barbecue. What started as a casual dinner soon turned into something much bigger. The gathering stretched on for hours, with Atif and his band members picking up instruments and performing live, right there at the table. Anuv recalled sitting beside Atif as the session unfolded, calling those hours the best experience he’d had.
Anuv had actually first spoken about that night back in 2024, when he posted a photograph with Atif taken around 3 am, describing it as an incredible jam session. This time, retelling the story years later, he reflected on just how special that spontaneous night turned out to be, highlighting the warmth and camaraderie shared between artists from India and Pakistan.
