Emaan Assad, the former wife of well-known Pakistani vlogger Rajab Butt, is set to launch her own YouTube channel, according to an announcement made by her brother, Aoun Sheikh.
Aoun shared the news with his followers on social media, saying he had an important update for them. He said Emaan’s channel should be ready within the next day or two and asked fans to support her the same way they have supported him.
Emaan first became popular through her appearances in Rajab Butt’s family vlogs, where the couple’s daily life and moments together drew a large online following. Over recent months, however, she has appeared far less often in his content, and her personal life has been the subject of growing curiosity among viewers.
With her own channel, Emaan will reportedly be able to post content independently for the first time, without relying on her former husband’s platform. So far, no details have been shared about the channel’s name, its first video, or the kind of content she plans to make.
The announcement comes at a time when Emaan and Rajab Butt remain involved in a separate legal dispute. Rajab has reportedly sent his former wife a defamation notice, claiming that posts and videos she shared online damaged his reputation. Her legal team has responded by asking for evidence to support the claim. The couple’s split and the issues that followed have remained a widely discussed topic on Pakistani social media for months.
