The story behind his absence is deeply personal. During a podcast conversation in 2025, Haider spoke about rising security threats and persistent extortion demands that created an unsafe environment for his household. He revealed that intimidation forced his father to close a family printing business, while threatening calls began affecting his personal emotional stability.
Those turbulent years led him toward spiritual expression, where he found temporary solace through reciting Hamd, Naat, and other forms of religious poetry. His mother eventually insisted he prioritise safety, and he left Pakistan in 2013.
