Pakistani actors Yasir Hussain and Amna Ilyas are teaming up again, this time for a new social comedy film called Paanch Hazaar Main Shaadi. The movie is written by Yasir Taj and Yasir Hussain, with Taj also directing it. The film promises to make audiences laugh while also sharing an important social message.
Yasir Hussain is well known in the Pakistani entertainment industry, not just as an actor but also as a director, writer, and playwright. He began his career as a VJ on Aag TV before moving into theatre, where he performed in popular plays like Angan Terha and Pawney 14 August. He later stepped into films, starting with Karachi Se Lahore, which he also wrote. He followed this with Lahore Se Aagey, co-starring Saba Qamar, and also played the villain in the 2018 drama Baandi.
Amna Ilyas made her film debut in 2013 with the crime drama Zinda Bhaag, acting alongside veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah. Her performance won her the Best Female Debut award. Since then, she has built a strong career with films like Good Morning Karachi, Saat Din Mohabbat In, Baaji, and Ready Steady No.
This is not the first time the two actors are working together. They previously appeared in the web series Kala Bichoo and the crime thriller BeyKhauf, where Hussain played a police officer and Ilyas played a reporter.
Fans are now looking forward to seeing this on-screen pair reunite for a fresh comedy with heart.
