Pakistan’s music scene has been buzzing with the rise of HAVI, and now, the soulful singer is making his mark on screen too. Abdur Rahman Sajid, known by his stage name HAVI, first stepped into the spotlight after winning Pepsi Battle of the Bands with his band Auj in 2019. In September 2024, he parted ways with Auj to pursue a new solo artistic direction, and it clearly paid off.
His solo music blends modern pop and rock with a soulful edge, cementing his place in Pakistan’s evolving music scene, with hits like Na Milay, Andaz-e-Karam, and Abyss winning hearts across the country.
Now HAVI is taking his talent to the small screen. He is set to make his acting debut in the Eid ul Adha telefilm Rishta Pakka, produced by Six Sigma Plus Production and Next Level Entertainment, the same production house behind many hit ARY projects. The telefilm is directed by Abdullah Abid Malik and written by Dr. Younus Butt, and features HAVI in a romantic lead role alongside a female co-star.
The poster shows a cinematic, sunset-lit aesthetic, promising a feel-good romantic story, a perfect fit for the festive Eid season. Fans are already excited to see whether HAVI’s natural charm and emotional depth as a singer will translate to the screen.
