The Pakistani entertainment world is once again in grief. Arsalna Muhammad Shah, the second daughter of the late legendary actor Shafi Muhammad Shah, has passed away. She died on 7th February 2026 due to a sudden heart attack. She was only 40 years old.
Shafi Muhammad Shah was a beloved Pakistani actor who started his career in 1980. He appeared in hit dramas like Akhri Chattan, Aanch, Teesra Kinara, Bund Gulab, and many more. He passed away on November 17, 2007, at the age of 58.
Arsalna followed her father’s footsteps into the media industry. She worked under Mr. Ghazanfar at Indus Vision and served as an Assistant Director and Director across multiple channels. But those who knew her remember her for something greater than her job title. She was known for treating everyone on set with respect, from senior producers to light boys. She helped people find jobs and gave without expecting anything in return.
She leaves behind her daughter, Ummul Banin. Her sibling shared a heartfelt tribute online, calling her “an angel in human form” with a heart of gold. The tribute moved many people who remembered her warmth and kindness.
