Meghan Markle, wife of Britain’s Prince Harry, may be stepping back into acting after several years away from the spotlight. According to media reports from Friday, she is being considered for a role in the Netflix show The Gentlemen, created by filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
The Hollywood Reporter stated that Meghan is in serious talks to join the show’s third season. However, another entertainment outlet, Deadline, described the discussions as still uncertain, pointing out that Netflix has not yet confirmed whether there will even be a third season. The show’s second season is expected to release next month.

Deadline also mentioned that no specific character has been decided for Meghan so far. She was previously known for playing a lead role in the popular legal drama Suits, which aired from 2011 to 2018, before she left acting and married Prince Harry. Neither Netflix nor a representative for the couple has commented on the reports.
This news comes shortly after another major update involving the couple: Harry, who left his royal duties back in 2020, is set to move back to Britain with Meghan and their children, leaving their home in California.
The Gentlemen, starring Theo James, tells the story of a man who suddenly inherits his family’s estate, only to find it tangled up in a large cannabis business and London’s criminal world.
