Hira Qaiser, a singer from Faisalabad, has been announced as the winner of Pakistan Idol 2026. She won the grand prize of Rs1.5 million at the show’s finale held on Sunday.
Hira comes from a middle-class family and impressed both the judges and the audience throughout the season with her singing talent and confident stage performances. Her journey on the show built up to an emotional final round, where she delivered a performance that many considered one of the best of the season.

Host Shafaat Ali presented Hira with the winning trophy. In a touching moment, she walked on stage holding her baby boy and accepted the award with tears in her eyes. As the win was announced, confetti filled the venue and the atmosphere turned festive, with other contestants and judges rushing to congratulate her. Well-known singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Bilal Maqsood, and Zeb Bangash, along with actor Fawad Khan, were present to celebrate the moment with her.

Overwhelmed with joy, Hira thanked the show and everyone who had supported her along the way, saying she was extremely happy and grateful for the opportunity.
For her final performance, she sang a song written by Mekaal Hasan, which received praise from Atif Aslam and the judging panel.
Other finalists included Maham Tahir, Waqar Hussain, Tarab Nafees, Samya Gohar, and Aryan Naveed Bhatti, each receiving Rs500,000 as prize money. With this win, Hira joins the growing list of Pakistan Idol champions.
