“It Was All Fake!”: Fatima Khan Admits Rajab Butt Controversy Was Planned for Fame

Pakistan’s digital world has been shaken by a stunning confession from TikToker Fatima Khan, who has now admitted that her entire public controversy with famous family YouTuber Rajab Butt was largely manufactured for fame.

Rajab Butt is one of Pakistan’s most popular yet controversial family vloggers with millions of followers. He has been facing multiple legal issues, including an FIR alleging he used YouTube and other platforms to mislead the public into investing in shady apps. He is also currently going through a divorce.

In late 2025, TikToker Fatima Khan made a series of serious allegations against Rajab Butt. She claimed Rajab lured her with false promises of marriage, coerced her into a relationship, physically assaulted her, and gave her lavish gifts, including a luxury watch worth around Rs 40 lakh. She also accused him of being addicted to alcohol and deceiving multiple women.

Rajab Butt strongly denied all accusations, saying he never gave her any gifts worth even a single rupee and that there was no personal relationship between them. He questioned Fatima’s credibility and hinted at sending a legal notice against her.

In a recent appearance on the On Roll podcast, Fatima Khan admitted that her controversy with Rajab Butt was pre-planned. She said she wanted fame, and he wanted to look like a victim. They both used the opportunity and gained from it. Fatima added that she got “dirty fame” but fame nonetheless. She also pointed out that she never provided proof of her claims and that her statements kept changing.

She further said that the public is naive and easily trusts anyone on camera, and that content creators deliberately create dirty controversies to grow their audience.

This confession exposes a deeply troubling trend in Pakistani digital content, where serious allegations like harassment and fraud are sometimes weaponized for clout. It raises important questions about accountability, media literacy, and the responsibility of content platforms.
