Pakistan’s favourite on-again, off-again couple, Hania Amir and Asim Azhar, are making headlines once again, and this time, the wedding rumours feel more real than ever.
The two began appearing frequently on each other’s Instagram feeds back in late 2018, sharing candid photos and attending industry events together. However, they parted ways in 2020, leaving fans heartbroken. After the split, Asim moved on and got engaged to model Meerub Ali, but that chapter also came to a close. He ended that engagement in June 2025, before rekindling his romance with Hania in July of the same year.
Since then, the coincidences have been hard to ignore.
First, Hania was spotted at Revive’s launch party, where Asim was performing, and a few days later, both were seen following each other on Instagram, sending fans into a complete frenzy.
Then came the Qawwali night. The pair reportedly hosted a Qawwali night at Asim Azhar’s residence. Visuals from the event, showing Hania and Asim dressed in coordinated black outfits, went viral online, further fuelling speculation about their relationship status.
The biggest moment came on Hania’s birthday. On February 13th, a video surfaced showing Asim Azhar and Hania Amir dancing together, both dressed in what appeared to be wedding attire. Asim wore a black sherwani, while Hania wore a full bridal dress with a veil-esque dupatta and flower garlands on her hands. The location looked decorated for a dholki.
Adding fuel to the fire, Asim Azhar was also heard speaking publicly about “true love,” describing it as something that “comes and never leaves” the mind, a comment widely interpreted as a reference to Hania.
Recently, Asim holding Hania’s hand during his performance in New York went viral and became a hot topic. Regardless of the effort Hania put into it, people noticed them at the concert. Later, Hania was spotted with a mask that had Asim Ali’s name on it.
A fresh wave of reports then suggested the two may be planning to tie the knot during Ramzan 2026 in an intimate Nikah ceremony, first reported by popular Instagram page Irfanistan.
Neither star has officially confirmed anything yet, but if the signs are anything to go by, Pakistan’s most beloved couple may finally be heading to the altar. Fans are watching every post, every appearance, and every caption very closely.
