Popular Pakistani TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, widely known as “Nadeem Naniwala,” found himself at the centre of a public controversy after a traffic stop in Lahore turned into a viral social media debate. However, new video evidence has since shifted the narrative significantly.
Fresh footage from the incident shows DSP Traffic Raya Circle Hisham Lodhi calmly explaining the traffic violation to Nadeem and asking him to bring his car to the police station. In the video, the officer can be heard addressing him politely as “Nadeem Bhai” throughout the exchange, reflecting composed and professional conduct.
Despite the officer’s repeated and polite requests, Nadeem allegedly refused to go to the station, citing the absence of a number plate on his vehicle as his reason.
A case was later registered against Nadeem at Police Station Defence C under charges of interfering in government work, on a complaint filed by Inspector Muhammad Fahdur Rahman. The TikToker spent one night in custody following the case registration.
Although social media had initially been flooded with claims of police misbehaviour and corruption, the new video footage and dashcam recordings failed to support either allegation. All video material has been included in the formal investigation.

No exceptions should be made, and no rules should be altered for any person based on their rank or position.
