Popular Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor has finally responded to the divorce rumours surrounding his marriage to actress Ayeza Khan. Speaking to Jang News, he firmly denied the reports, calling them completely false.
The speculation began after Danish attended the cinema premiere of the final episode of his hit drama Humraahi, but Ayeza was noticeably missing from the event. Fans also noticed that she had earlier attended the premiere of another drama, Sher, on her own, and had removed several photos with her husband from social media, while sharing bolder, solo pictures. This shift led many followers to believe something was wrong in the marriage, and rumours of a possible split quickly spread online.
Addressing the reports, Danish said Ayeza is still his wife and the mother of his children, and added that some people simply cannot accept seeing them happy. He explained that both of them are currently occupied with heavy professional commitments, which is why they haven’t had much time to respond to online gossip or spend time posting together on social media.
He also spoke about his drama Humraahi, which has received a strong response from audiences, and praised his on-screen chemistry with co-star Hiba Bukhari.
Interestingly, even Danish’s sister-in-law, Sidra Taimoor, had earlier stepped in to defend the couple, saying they are “healthy and happy” and sharing a strong bond. With Danish now addressing the issue directly, the couple appears to be putting the rumours to rest, even though neither Danish nor Ayeza has issued a lengthy formal statement.
