Asim Azhar’s New Song ‘Aarzu’ Has Fans Convinced Hania Aamir Made a Secret Cameo

Pakistan’s favourite “will they, won’t they” story just got a new chapter — and this time, it comes with a mystery voice.

Singer Asim Azhar recently dropped a special new version of Aarzu, collaborating with rising artists Noor, Khan, and Madhurxo, releasing it as an “Eidi gift” for his fans. The track is everything fans expected: dreamy, romantic, and dripping in nostalgia. But almost immediately after its release, the internet stopped talking about the music and started obsessing over one burning question: whose voice is that in the background?

Fans quickly pointed fingers at actress Hania Aamir, and honestly, it is not hard to see why. “Phir se bolo” is no longer just a phrase; it’s now a full-blown trend, as fans go crazy trying to find out whether Hania Aamir made a secret cameo or not. The two have been feeding the internet’s imagination for months. Hania was spotted at Asim’s New York concert, trying to stay incognito with a covered face and hat, only to be caught singing along to Meri Zindagi Hai Tu. She then posted a childhood photo of Asim on her Instagram, which fans called her biggest “soft launch” yet.

The timing of Aarzu only poured more fuel on the fire. Asim also sang Nusrat’s cover “Tere Bin Nahin Lagda,” which had  “Jaania, Haania” as a lyric. The two have been linked since 2018, and after Asim ended his engagement with Merub Ali in June 2025, reunion speculation went into overdrive. Neither has officially confirmed anything, which, as every Pakistani drama fan knows, practically means confirmation.

For now, the mystery voice in Aarzu remains unanswered, and Asim and Hania seem perfectly happy keeping fans guessing.
