Pakistani television host and actress Kiran Khan has tied the knot with Ishtiaq Baig in a Nikah ceremony held in Makkah, combining the occasion with her first Umrah pilgrimage. The couple shared the news on social media, describing the trip as a moment of double blessing, performing Umrah and starting married life together in the holy city.

Kiran, known for hosting morning and cooking shows on Pakistani television, wrote an emotional note thanking Allah for the opportunity to begin this new chapter surrounded by prayer and devotion at the Haram. She prayed for their marriage to be a source of peace and goodness for one another. This is Kiran’s second marriage; she has an adult son from her earlier marriage.

Her husband, Ishtiaq Baig, is well known in Pakistan for his charitable work, including founding the Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan. He is also recognised as the former husband of legendary singer Nazia Hassan. Baig and Nazia married in 1995, but the relationship ended in divorce just two years later in 1997, with differing accounts of the split circulating over the years.

News of Kiran’s marriage spread quickly online, with many fans and celebrities, including Nida Yasir, sending their congratulations, while others reacted with surprise at Baig’s connection to the late singer.
