Momina Iqbal Opens Up About Threats, Cyberbullying & Silenced Complaints Against MPA

Pakistani TV actress Momina Iqbal has bravely spoken out about a disturbing harassment campaign that has been targeting her for a long time.

Taking to her Instagram story, Momina revealed that she has been facing severe online harassment, cyberbullying, mental torture, and life threats from a member of the Punjab Provincial Assembly (MPA) affiliated with PML-N. She did not publicly name the MPA.

Despite repeatedly reporting the matter to the NCCIA, FIA, and Punjab Police, she says no proper action has been taken, which she attributes to the political influence of the person involved.

What makes the situation even more alarming is the alleged cover-up. Momina claimed that individuals connected to the office of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif tried to discourage her and silence the matter rather than allowing a fair investigation.

As a result of speaking up, both she and her family are now facing serious threats to their safety. This has left the actress feeling cornered, with nowhere to turn for protection.

Momina issued a firm warning, saying that if the matter continues to be ignored, she will hold a public press conference and present all available evidence against everyone involved in the harassment, threats, and suppression of her complaints.

She directly appealed to CM Maryam Nawaz, expressing her belief that the Chief Minister will take unbiased and lawful action against anyone found involved in abuse of power or obstruction of justice.

This is not Momina’s first battle with online abuse. She has previously spoken out against social media trolls, phone-hacking mafias, and fake viral videos, showing a pattern of targeted harassment against the young actress.
