Louis Vuitton will once again escort football’s biggest prize onto the pitch, this time at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in New York/New Jersey. The French luxury fashion house has been named the Official Supplier and Branded Licensee for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and will present the tournament trophy in a custom-designed trunk at the final.
The trunk features a golden “V” for both “Victory” and “Vuitton” across the front, along with the brand’s signature monogram pattern and gold-plated brass corner protectors. The interior is lined with beige leather and includes a patch marking the partnership between Louis Vuitton and FIFA.

This marks the fifth time the luxury house has designed such a case for the tournament, following the trunks made for the World Cups held in South Africa, Brazil, Russia, and Qatar. The new trunk is handmade at Louis Vuitton’s historic workshops in Asnières-sur-Seine, where the maison has been producing luggage since the 19th century.
The trunk will be brought onto the pitch as part of the official ceremonies programme, continuing a tradition that has become a signature feature of the World Cup since 2010, with a Louis Vuitton ambassador and a FIFA Legend presenting the trophy.
The trophy itself weighs 6.175kg and is made from 18-carat gold and malachite. The trunk and trophy will make their way to the pitch for the first time at the final game of the competition, which takes place in New Jersey.
To mark the occasion, Louis Vuitton is also introducing a limited-edition run of three trunks inspired by the FIFA World Cup Trophy Trunk. The final promises to be a grand spectacle, blending football’s biggest night with fashion’s finest craftsmanship once again.
