Is Saheefa Jabbar’s Restaurant ‘Roni’s Pizzeria’ Being Closed?

Pakistani model and actress Saheefa Jabbar Khattak’s much-hyped restaurant venture, Roni’s Pizzeria in Lahore’s DHA Phase 3, is facing severe financial struggles, with the owner herself publicly admitting that the business has failed.

Launched earlier in 2026, the pizzeria gained massive initial traction after food vlogger Amna Ashraff (@amnaashrafff) visited and praised its pizzas, helping make it viral on TikTok and Instagram. Saheefa expressed deep gratitude to Amna in a recent emotional post, crediting her as one of the few who genuinely supported her during tough times.

However, rapid fame turned sour. Saheefa faced backlash over comments on staff hiring preferences, which many interpreted as discriminatory. This sparked boycotts, a flood of alleged fake negative Google reviews, and online controversy. In emotional videos, she broke down, calling it a targeted campaign against women entrepreneurs.

In her latest Instagram video and carousel post (shared around May 20-21, 2026), Saheefa openly declared, “Yes, my business failed!” She revealed daily financial losses due to poor decisions by a former partner, exhausted investments, and the pressure of rent and staff salaries. She shared raw behind-the-scenes images showing sleepless nights and hard work, while requesting honest reviews from influencers to help revive it.

Despite the admission, Saheefa remains determined. She wrote that she is “not going anywhere” and will continue fighting. The restaurant does not appear to be permanently closed yet, but it is clearly in deep trouble and may shut down without a strong recovery.

Her story highlights the harsh realities of Pakistan’s food industry, intense competition, online backlash, and high operational costs. Many entrepreneurs face similar struggles, but Saheefa’s transparency has earned praise for breaking the illusion of overnight success. Whether Roni’s Pizzeria survives depends on customer support and better management in the coming weeks.
