Pakistani actress and Tamasha Season 2 winner Aruba Mirza broke down in tears while opening up about a painful betrayal from her past. Speaking on Dunya News’ show Mazaaqrat, hosted by Imran Ashraf, Aruba shared how she was deeply hurt by someone she once trusted completely.
When the host asked if she had ever been left by someone she loved, Aruba admitted she has faced betrayal many times, both from friends and partners. She called herself unlucky in that sense, saying disloyal people always find an excuse to walk away, and the same happened to her.

She revealed that she had been in a relationship for seven years with a man she planned to marry. Everyone around them knew about the wedding plans. But everything changed when he told her he was going to Islamabad for a family event. While she was on a shoot, a friend called and asked her to look at some pictures, they turned out to be his wedding photos. He had married someone else without her knowledge.
Aruba said she broke down crying on set but couldn’t tell anyone the real reason. Instead, she made up a story that her grandmother had passed away, even though people could sense her grief was deeper than that. She even talked about her daughter, saying that after 10 years, her daughter also went to live with her father, leaving her behind.
She ended the emotional conversation on a hopeful note, saying life goes on despite betrayals, and that time and true friends eventually help a person heal.
