DJ Fred Again created his own remix of the track. The original song was made by Ali Soomro and his musical partner Afusic (Affan Khan), and it has become one of the biggest hits in the country.
Ali Soomro shared videos of Fred Again performing the remixed version during a livestream alongside the Mexican band Latin Mafia. In his Instagram post, Soomro expressed how surreal the moment felt, saying it showed him how small and connected the world really is.

Soomro also looked back on the journey of creating Pal Pal. He explained that he and Afusic made the song purely out of love, without chasing trends or aiming for mainstream fame. Before this song, the duo had never earned any money from music. Their goal was simply to create something meaningful and share it with the world.

He also shared memories of the hard work behind the scenes, revealing that the duo often worked on the song late at night, after their day jobs and other responsibilities. He recalled how excited they felt whenever the song was added to playlists by Spotify Pakistan, calling those early moments big wins that kept them motivated.
Soomro further thanked Indian singer-songwriter Talwiinder, who had earlier added his own version and style to the song. According to Soomro, this made Pal Pal feel truly complete.
The singer ended his message by thanking his team and everyone who supported the song’s journey to success.
Pal Pal has performed incredibly well on music charts. According to Spotify Pakistan, it became the second most-streamed song in the country. Thanks to the song’s success, both Ali Soomro and Afusic also ranked among Pakistan’s most-streamed artists, placing ninth and eighth, respectively.
With a global DJ like Fred Again now remixing the track, Pal Pal‘s reach appears to be growing even further beyond Pakistan.
