Pakistani actress Iqra Aziz recently spoke about her marriage to actor and writer Yasir Hussain, and made it clear that outside opinions have never shaken how she feels about it. She was speaking to reporters while supporting her husband at his theatre production, “So Suite,” in Lahore.
During the conversation, Iqra addressed the criticism she and Yasir have faced over their age gap, which is more than ten years. She said people are free to think what they want, but that has never changed her own feelings. When asked directly if marrying Yasir felt like a blessing, she didn’t hold back. “Absolutely, absolutely,” she said. “People may say different things, but I feel that I’m very fortunate. I really can’t say anything more than that.”

She also spoke warmly about her husband, calling him kind and describing how happy she feels being around him and their family. According to her, that happiness speaks for itself, more than any argument could.
The couple also touched on motherhood during the chat. Iqra spoke about the guilt working mothers often carry, admitting it’s something she deals with too. She said having a strong support system, including both families, has made a real difference in raising her children. She encouraged other mothers, working or not, to be kinder to themselves instead of carrying unnecessary guilt.
Iqra and Yasir got married in 2019 and are now parents to two children.
