Pakistani TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, widely known as Nadeem Naniwala, has spoken out to clear up speculation about his friendship with YouTuber Rajab Butt and his own involvement in the ongoing rumors surrounding Butt and his wife, Eman Fatima.
The speculation grew after Butt reportedly sent Eman a divorce notice earlier this year, a development she shared through an Instagram story. The news set off weeks of online discussion about the couple’s marriage, which had already faced repeated scrutiny. Shia scholar Allama Asif Raza Alvi later said he was trying to help the two reconcile, though no formal confirmation of a resolution followed.
Naniwala, a long-time friend of Butt who has also appeared alongside him in several legal proceedings, found himself pulled into the story after he was seen interacting with both Eman and her brother, Aoun Sheikh, at a public event. Clips from the gathering, where Naniwala referred to Eman as “bhabhi” and involved her in an on-stage giveaway, spread quickly online and led some users to question the nature of the interaction, while others said the clips were being read into unfairly.
Separate posts and videos had also suggested that Naniwala’s bond with Butt had cooled. Addressing the speculation, Naniwala said his relationship with Eman is limited to that of a family friend and denied any suggestion of impropriety. He also explained that when he and Rajab were going through a difficult situation, he asked Eman to come home, and she did so. According to Naniwala, Eman later left because she felt that she was not needed there. He maintained that his friendship with Rajab remains intact despite the rumors.
He did not confirm whether Butt and Eman have fully reconciled, saying the matter remains a private one for the couple to resolve.
