Pakistani actor Romaisa Khan, known for her role in Dar-e-Nijaat, has shared an emotional video expressing her deep frustration with the state of the country. In the clip posted on Instagram, she said that while she wishes she could simply tell everyone to leave Pakistan, she knows that isn’t a real solution, since moving abroad requires education and opportunities that many people, especially women, don’t have access to at home.
Khan spoke about the constant fear that comes with everyday life in Pakistan, mentioning that people wake up each day just hoping to make it through safely. She pointed to recent tragic events, including a hospital fire in Islamabad that killed several infants and the death of a young girl in Peshawar, as examples of the pain many Pakistanis are carrying right now.
She also spoke directly about how boys are raised, saying they aren’t taught to respect boundaries or treat women and children safely. Khan said many men react defensively when women raise these issues, treating it as a personal attack rather than a call to fix real problems in society.
Her message echoed sentiments already shared by other celebrities and everyday citizens, many of whom have expressed similar exhaustion and grief over ongoing violence and lack of accountability. Khan ended her video by questioning why Pakistanis are blamed for feeling hopeless when so little seems to change.
