Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has responded to rumors about her changed appearance, denying claims that she has gone through cosmetic surgery. The actress spoke out through a series of videos on her Instagram Stories.
Shah questioned why people quickly assume surgery or filters whenever someone looks different or slimmer than before. She insisted there was no filter in her video, urging fans to look closely and see for themselves. She said many people jump to conclusions the moment someone appears to look better or thinner than expected, instantly assuming cosmetic surgery is behind it.
To prove her point, Shah repeatedly touched her face on camera to show there was no filter involved. In another story, she pointed to her natural eyelashes, making clear she had not used any lash extensions either.
The controversy began after Shah’s latest “Get Ready with Me” video went viral, leading to speculation online about her appearance. She maintained that any visible change comes from makeup skills, not from Botox or surgical procedures.
Despite the criticism, many fans rushed to defend her, calling her naturally beautiful and comparing her to a real-life Barbie doll. Not everyone agreed, however, with some users suggesting her response was simply an attempt to stay relevant.
Alizeh Shah became a well-known face in Pakistani television at a young age. She has starred in popular dramas including Ehd-e-Wafa, Ishq Tamasha, and Mera Dil Mera Dushman, along with other projects such as Taqdeer and Khail.
