Kinza Hashmi, Ushna Shah, Zara Noor Abbas Team Up for SHEROES

Pakistani television star Kinza Hashmi is making a notable move to the big screen this year with SHEROES, an anthology film also featuring Ushna Shah and Zara Noor Abbas. The project is set for a nationwide theatrical release on September 18, 2026, and has already generated buzz following the release of its official trailer.

Unlike a typical ensemble film, SHEROES is structured as three separate and independent stories, each centered on one of the three lead actresses. Hashmi’s segment appears to revolve around the art world, with early trailer glimpses showing her character inside a gallery where questionable or possibly fake paintings are being sold to unsuspecting buyers. Zara Noor Abbas takes on an action-driven role as a tough police officer, shown riding motorcycles, driving at high speed, and engaging in shootouts with criminals. Meanwhile, Ushna Shah’s story dives into the world of boxing, with training sequences and intense ring matches forming the core of her narrative.

The film has been jointly directed by Saqib Khan and Badar Mehmood, who each handled separate segments of the anthology. The writing team includes Mohsin Ali, Hashim Nadeem, and Amna Mufti. The trailer was released by Sindh Films, a filmmaking initiative run by the Government of Sindh, working alongside Geo Films, positioning SHEROES as a government-backed effort to support homegrown cinema.

With three distinct genres, ranging from drama and deception to crime and sports, packed into a single release, SHEROES appears designed to appeal to a wide range of moviegoers when it hits theaters across Pakistan next month.
