When Food Brand Meets Fashion! McDonald’s Turned Into Fashion By Young Designers

At IMA 2026, something special and fun happened. Young student designers took the famous McDonald’s Pakistan icons that generations have grown up with and turned them into modern, stylish fashion.

The Golden Arches, the bright red and yellow colours, the familiar characters, and other loved symbols of McDonald’s became the starting point for fresh new looks. Six young designers each brought their own creative style. They studied the brand’s classic images and gave them a fashion-forward twist.

The students worked hard for weeks. They made mood boards, chose fabrics, and carefully designed every detail. From bold silhouettes to fine surface work, every piece showed how much love and effort went into the collection. What started as familiar McDonald’s icons became wearable art that felt both nostalgic and new.

McDonald’s Pakistan partnered with IMA for this special showcase held on 15 and 16 August. The event gave talented student designers a big platform to show their creativity. Visitors saw how a global food brand could inspire beautiful clothes that celebrate both tradition and modern style.

This collaboration proves that fashion can come from unexpected places. When young minds meet a brand full of happy memories, the result is exciting, colourful, and full of energy. McDonald’s icons that once lived only on menus and packaging now walk the runway in a whole new way.

Food and fashion came together at IMA 2026, and the result was pure creativity.
