Pakistani actor Noor Hassan has stirred a big debate on social media after sharing a sarcastic comment about his home country. Known for his role as Khizer in the hit drama Humsafar and more recently praised for his performance in Noor Jahan, Noor shared a video on Instagram after leaving Pakistan.
In his caption, he wrote, “After leaving Pakistan, I came to know that peace is outside Pakistan.” The comment quickly caught attention and sparked mixed reactions among his followers.
Many users reacted with anger over his statement. One person commented, “Don’t ever come to Pakistan, even after dying.” Another accused him of hypocrisy, saying he got fame and money from the country and is now criticizing it.
However, not everyone was against him. A large number of users supported his point of view. Some pointed out that basic rights are hard to find in Pakistan, while others said that corrupt governments and lawlessness are the real reasons behind brain drain in the country. Many agreed that Pakistan is becoming a difficult place to live in.
This is not the first time a celebrity’s personal opinion about Pakistan has caused an online argument. Such comments often divide people into two groups: those who feel proud and protective of their homeland, and those who feel let down by the current state of affairs. Noor Hassan’s remark seems to have touched a nerve, showing how many Pakistanis, both at home and abroad, are thinking about issues like safety, rights, and quality of life.
As of now, Noor Hassan has not released any further statement to clarify or expand on his comment. The debate, however, continues to trend as more users share their opinions on both sides.
