Popular Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt is in the news again, this time facing a fresh legal case, even as he recently opened up about his massive wealth in a podcast interview.
Butt, who is known as one of Pakistan’s most famous YouTubers and grew his following in less than three years, recently revealed real numbers about his finances. He shared in a podcast that he officially became a billionaire last year, with his net worth crossing 100 crore rupees, calling it the result of 12 years of hard work. He is often seen showing off his wealth through expensive watches, foreign trips, and a lavish wedding.
But aside from money, is Rajab Butt’s wife the only person who has brought him misfortune, or does he enjoy making headlines? He makes headlines every few weeks by doing something needless that shocks his admirers even more. Emaan Rajab recently went live to provide her side of the story and discuss how they had reconnected, but Rajab completely denied everything, and now there is another complaint against him.
Lahore police registered a case against Butt and several others over an alleged assault and firing incident at a cafe in the city’s Nawab Town area. According to reports, the complaint was filed by a woman named Ayesha Jutt, who said the incident took place on July 25 while she was at the cafe with friends. She alleged that an argument broke out after two men and two women began harassing one of her friends, leading to slapping and one suspect allegedly firing a pistol.
The complainant claimed that Rajab Butt was present at the incident and alleged that he took part in assaulting and attacking her and one of her friends. According to police, the case has been filed under Pakistan Penal Code Sections 354, 506(B), and 337-H(2). Section 506(B) addresses criminal intimidation containing significant threats, Section 354 addresses assault or use of criminal force against a woman with the intent to insult her modesty, and Section 337-H(2) addresses causing harm.
For now, the allegations remain unproven, and the outcome will depend on the legal process.
