The actress said she had stayed silent through what she called an abusive relationship, but felt she could no longer ignore the situation. She claimed the cricketer reached out to her family, friends, and colleagues in an attempt to damage her image and career. This, she said, caused stress not just for her but for people close to her.
Huma also said her legal team would soon share evidence to support her claims. This may include details about the cricketer’s conduct during hotel stays paid for by the Pakistan Cricket Board. She has not named the player or shared any proof yet, but hinted that more information could come out soon.
