The highly anticipated Pakistani Netflix original series “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo” is nearing completion, with a global release planned for late 2026.
Reports say producer Momina Duraid is personally overseeing the final edits as post-production reaches its closing stages, with major promotional campaigns expected to launch soon ahead of an official premiere announcement.
Commissioned by Netflix MENA, the series is based on Farhat Ishtiaq’s bestselling 2013 Urdu novel of the same name, marking a major milestone for Pakistani storytelling on a global streaming platform. Filming took place across Italy, the United Kingdom, and several scenic locations in Pakistan, giving the show a visually rich, international backdrop.
The story follows Sikandar, a Harvard law student whose life changes after a deeply traumatic event leaves him withdrawn. Everything shifts when he meets Liza, a talented artist carrying her own emotional struggles, during a chance encounter in Italy. Their bond grows into a story of healing, romance, and self-discovery set against sweeping global locations.
The series boasts one of the largest star-studded casts ever assembled for a Pakistani production, including Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Sanam Saeed, Hania Aamir, Ahad Raza Mir, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Maya Ali, Iqra Aziz, Khushal Khan, and Bilal Ashraf, along with several other well-known performers.
While Netflix has not confirmed an exact premiere date, insiders say the project remains on track for a late 2026 release, though the timeline could stretch into early 2027 depending on final production needs.
